ACADEMICS
Our mission is to provide an individualized learning environment that encourages our students to meet academic challenges with openness, enthusiasm, and a willingness to solve problems. Our focus is on the whole child where we strive to cultivate independent thought, self-discipline, tolerance and responsibility so each child can contribute to his or her community in meaningful and positive ways.
Curriculum
The curriculum of our Christi and STEPSS programs emphasize the development of every aspect of a child's development. As a Christian school, we embrace spiritual teachings with the goal of providing individual nurture and care to each student, fostering growth, development, and social skills to create an environment of responsibility and team spirit. Life skills are also intergrated into subject learning to promote concrete understanding for application in daily living. The curriculum is aligned to the Florida state standards.
Both programs are enriched with the school's participation in the Fairchild Challenges. This is sponsored by Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens. It enhances the students learning with its interdisciplinary approach. Students experience vital connections with the natural environment and express appreciation for its beauty. In doing this they develop critical thinking skills, as they understand the need for conservation.
